Denise Woodhouse has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology), Diploma in Counselling, Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and is a certified Reiki Master. Denise, her husband, and two poodles, have just returned to Gawler South Australia, to be near family, after 30 years living in Brisbane, Queensland.
Denise spent many years working in the Community as a counsellor and in management within the disability and health sectors. Denise has commenced practice as a Traditional Acupuncturist at her home in Kalbeeba...don't know where Kalbeeba is?...well..Balmoral Road is just off Carlton Road, Gawler East, South Australia.
Denise treats a wide variety of health complaints as well as using acupuncture to promote and maintain health and well being. "I find acupuncture is useful for women's health problems, IVF support, headaches/migraines, insomnia, high or low blood pressure, fluid retention, asthma, bronchitis, hayfever/allergies, colds/flu, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, sleep apnoea, osteoarthritis, sciatica, lower back pain, neck/shoulder pain, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, RSI, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, frozen shoulder, joint swelling, tennis elbow, sprained ankles or knees, and also stress management - I have treated a number of clients with depression with good results:,
